Here we have a rose with a skull tattooed on Colleen. She walked in with a weird realistic drawing of this concept, which wasn’t very cohesive with my particular approach at tattooing. Luckily she was open to me having a little fun with this tattoo. It’s always nice when people still want to get tattoos that actually look like tattoos. Thanks for looking.

Here we have a dagger and rose tattoo on my friend Jeronimo. The names are his mother and brother’s. He has been quite the regular lately, and has some great ideas for tattoos. It’s always a treat to work on him. My photography skills are quite nonexistent, hence the super dark photo. One of these days I’ll invest in a nice lighting setup for the shop. Thanks for looking!

Here we have a reproduction of Bert Grimm’s Sun Dancer painting. I tattooed this on my good friend Shea. We started the line work quite some time ago and finally finished it up this week. This was loads of fun to do. Healed photo coming soon. Thanks for looking.

Here we have a tattoo of the Rose of No Man’s Land on Klecko. It is a famous tattoo from the World War 1 era, a tribute to the Nurses at the front lines helping the sick and wounded soldiers. I will get a nice healed photograph soon.

“I’ve seen some beautiful flowers,
Grow in life’s garden fair,
I’ve spent some wonderful hours,
Lost in their fragrance rare;
But I have found another,
Wondrous beyond compare.

There’s a rose that grows on “No Man’s Land”
And it’s wonderful to see,
Tho’ its spray’d with tears, it will live for years,
In my garden of memory.

It’s the one red rose the soldier knows,
It’s the work of the Master’s hand;
Mid the War’s great curse, Stands the Red Cross Nurse,
She’s the rose of “No Man’s Land”.
